Basalt Cove at Storm Light
A sheltered pebble cove at Petrova Island opens to turquoise water, its shores edged with columnar basalt. Storm clouds have settled low above the bay, and the distant headland is just visible through the haze. Lazovsky Reserve, spring 2008.
