Wind-Sculpted Snowfield, Perisher Valley

Wind had shaped the snowfield above Perisher into smooth undulations, the surface broken only by dark subalpine shrubs casting thin shadows. A warm, hazy afternoon light softened the distant ridges into pale layers.
