finescenery.com is live on a new home, same photography, new foundation.
Why this version
Twenty years of landscape work has been scattered across disks, sidecar files, and legacy platforms. The new site is built directly on top of my Lightroom catalog: 1,746 selected images chosen from a 117,166-image archive, with titles and alt-text generated by AI, tagged by scene + mood + composition, and organized by place: Australia, Russia’s Far East, and beyond.

Three places worth exploring:
- Explore by place: Australia, Russia’s Far East, around the world.
- Explore by feeling: golden hour, storm clouds, long exposure water.
- Search by idea: CLIP-powered search lets you look for “misty forest” or “sea stacks at dawn” and finds matches across the archive.

What’s next
A longer post on how this site is built, the AI pipeline that selects, captions, and organizes everything, is coming in a couple of weeks. Meanwhile, the archive keeps growing: new shoots get indexed, tagged, and dropped into the right gallery automatically. Explore, and tell me what stops you.
